Abstract

Currently, digital technologies are one of the key priorities of the development of a modern state. The creation of new opportunities in the process of digitalization inevitably affects the sphere of social protection of citizens in need, including those affected by negative radiation exposure. Based on the analysis of functioning information resources, which reflect information about radiation accidents, an attempt has been made to determine their role as a promising means to improve the effectiveness of protective measures. As a result, it is concluded that the unity of information resources is provided by a common goal – to compensate for the harm caused by radiation to a person, his life and health. Based on the conclusions, possible options for improving information resources to provide targeted assistance to those in need are proposed.
