The investigation of crimes committed with the use of digital technologies is usually carried out after preliminary data collection activities, from which it can be concluded that a crime has been committed. That is, for the successful investigation of these crimes, it is important to have such a stage as the preparatory phase for the crime investigation. To ensure the quality of this stage, persons with special knowledge in the field of digital technologies are involved. This provides the necessary quality, which consists in the formation of an information basis for the future investigation of these crimes. Due to the presence of such a basis, the investigator can subsequently, in the beginning of the investigation, determine not only its direction, but also the algorithm of those actions that must be performed to establish the truth.
