THE METHODOLOGY IMPROVEMENT FOR INTERDISCIPLINARY SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL RESEARCH IN FORENSIC EXPERTISE IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITALIZATION

The article is devoted to the analysis of potential opportunities and systematic improvement of methodology for innovative interdisciplinary scientific and practical research in the field of forensic expertise in the context of the digital transformation of criminal and civil procedure. It has been proved that the digitalization of forensic expertise naturally leads to the emergence of the new objects for expert research, the transformation of existing methods and procedures, as well as the emergence of interdisciplinary areas of forensic expertise that require the integration of knowledge in jurisprudence, computer science, mathematics, genetics and other branches of knowledge. Based on the analysis of modern expert practice and scientific developments, the key problems of methodological support for innovative interdisciplinary research in the context of digitalization have been identified, including the fragmentation of the conceptual framework, the lack of unified standards for verifying digital techniques, insufficient development of approaches to integrating artificial intelligence results into the evidence process and the lack of interdisciplinary competencies among forensic experts. Purpose: to identify potential opportunities and to develop scientifically based directions for the systematic improvement of methodology for innovative interdisciplinary scientific and practical research in forensic expertise in the context of digital technologies. Methods: the methodological basis of the research is the dialectical method of scientific cognition, which makes it possible to consider forensic expertise in the development and interrelation of its elements with the surrounding technological environment. The author uses general scientific methods (system-structural analysis, synthesis, comparison, abstraction, generalization) and private scientific methods of legal science (formal legal, comparative legal, method of legal forecasting). Research results: a model of methodology systematic improvement for forensic expertise is proposed, including the creation of a hierarchical system of scientific and methodological materials, the development of a basic standard for the use of artificial intelligence technologies, the formation of repositories of verified data and the introduction of interdisciplinary educational training programs. Conclusions. It is concluded that the effective development of forensic expertise in the digital era is possible only if organizational, legal, methodological and personnel problems are solved simultaneously and interdisciplinary research is improved based on an integrative approach, while maintaining the expert’s status as a subject of responsibility and a central role in the process of making conclusions.
